International Dimension

The International dimension within the Academy is something which is embed into the curriculum and also into the ethos of learning. This creates well-rounded, global citizens of our students equipping them with the knowledge of a variety of cultures developing a sense of empathy and understanding.
Activities with an International flavour take place throughout our teaching year within curriculum areas. Programmes such as Connecting Classrooms and Comenius, both supported by The British Council, add an extra, enriching element which allows students to have a more tangible experience of culture by linking NSHA with schools within Europe and beyond.
The Academy is working towards a full accreditation of The International School Award which recognises the work and achievements both students and staff have accomplished.
