Lunches

The Academy will now run 1 lunch session / sitting per day. The lunch session is 40 minutes. Students will remain on the Academy campus for lunch. They will not be able to go off the Academy site during the 40 minute lunch break.
The Academy has an exciting new catering team who will offer good value breakfast, break-time snacks and healthy tasty lunches for our students. Both hot and cold selections will be offered by our new caterers whose service will be friendly and efficient. There will be a range of breakfast items and snacks at break. For lunch there will be a large selection including: salad boxes, baguettes, pasta to go, soup and jacket potatoes with a wide choice of fillings. There will be weekly menus and monthly guest dishes offering a variety of international flavours from Mexican tortillas to Chinese stir fry. Desserts both hot and cold will be offered daily and there will be a selection of beverages including milkshakes, smoothies and juices.
Prices: at break prices range from 20p for toast to £1.50 for a panini.
At lunch meal deals and grab boxes will be £1.85 whilst a jacket potato and filling will be around £1.20 depending on the choice of filling.
Food will be purchased on a cashless catering based system. Students topup their accounts on a fingerprint recognition system.
