Uniform

The Academy is very proud of the smart uniform our students have chosen. The uniform is smart and business-like and reflects the ethos of the Academy and our aim to inspire success and raise aspirations.
Students will be encouraged to take pride in their uniform and their appearance at all times. Parents are asked to give their vital support in maintaining the very high standards by adhering to the lists set out below.
It is Academy policy that uniform must be worn by all students. Jumpers will not be allowed.

| Trainers*: colour is not specified but style should be appropriate for P.E. and should not be a leisure, canvas or fashion trainer. Trainer soles should be a non-marking variety. | |
* Items that are not specific to the Academy and may be bought from any source, including supermarkets, providing they are in keeping with the style of the uniform. Shoes should be an appropriate style for school use and should be shoes not trainers. Fashion boots should not be worn.
Girls’ skirts should be a respectable knee length, please avoid lycra skirts which cling and rise up, black tights can be worn with skirts but skirts with tights must still be knee length. Skirts should not be worn with over the knee socks. This is a school uniform not a fashion statement.
